I can't edit my profile. None of the boxes are interactive.
I want to set this up for my band, not me personally... How do I change it?All you have to do is enroll in the "Band Manager" module. Them you'll be able to create a band profile that is completely separate from your profile, but managed through your login. Then each of your band members can sign up for individual profiles, add themselves as friends. Through the "Band Manager" module you can make them "Band Members". As band members they can blog on the bands blog, etc.
What is the Band Manager Feature for?The band manager feature let you manage band profiles on the site. Band profiles have many features that member profiles do not. Like the way friends work, ability to add shows, etc.
Does your site support html? How can I load html?Yes, we do support html.
We currently have rich edit boxes enabled by default that create the html for you. If you want to post the html that you've created somewhere else you can turn off the active edit boxes by going to the "Account" menu and un-checking the "Check to use Javascript rich text editor" check box and clicking "Update Account". That will give you plain old text areas and you can load your html in those.
My songs won't play on my profile.It looks like all the songs you've uploaded are wma files. Our player currently only plays mp3s.

* Enter a title/description into the given boxes
* Click "Upload Song"
* Go to The Playlist Tab that is directly above the song that you just uploaded
* Add the song to a playlist

1. Click "Photos" at the top of the screen.
2. Click "Update Pictures" for the photo album you want to upload photos to.
3. Click the "Browse" button and select the photo on your hard drive. (it must be a jpg, png or gif file) 4. Type a title and description and click "Upload Picture"
To upload Music:
1. Click Music at the top of the screen.
2. On the "Songs" tab click "Browse" and find the mp3 you want to upload. (Our streaming player will only play mp3's.)
3. Type a title and description of your song .
4. Click the "Upload Song" button.
5. Click the "Playlists" tab.
6. Click the name of the playlist you want to add the song too. (You can add the song to as many playlists as you like.)
7. Click the "Add" link next to the name of the song.
Playlists are used throughout the site in different types of profiles. Having different playlists lets you have different samples on each section of the site. You can, of course, use the same playlist for each profile you have.

When you log into the site your in your "Personal" profile.
From there click on the "Features" menu and then you can 'manage' your other profiles.
This allows you to manage many different profiles of different types (Band, Studio Msuician, Studio, Venue, etc).
To edit your recording studio profile:
1. After you've logged into MyLocalMusicNow.com click "Features"
2. Click "Recording Studio Manager"
3. Click on the studio name
4. Use the menus at the top to enter all you vital info.
5. To add your zip code for placement in your local community click the "Contact" menu enter your zip code in the zip code box and click "Update"
Remember, to be listed in your local music community you need to at least
enter the zip code in the "Contact Info" section of the Recording studio profile.

I am trying to place my playlist on my profile page. I cannot figure out how to do it. Am I missing something? Please advise. Thank you!In order for your playlist to how up on your profile you need to set it as you defailt playlist.
To do that Click On "Music" at the top menu. Click the "Playlists" tab. Select the playlist you want as your default profile playlist and click "Make Default Playlist".

I can't get my song into playlist.After you've uploaded your song click on the "Playlist" tab. Click the name of the playlist you want to add your song too. (You can also add a new playlist by typing the name in the text box below and clicking "New Playlist".) Click Edit Playlist after you've clicked on the playlist name. The available songs you've uploaded will be on the right. Click on a song name and click add. If you want to remove a song from the playlist click on the song name on the left and click the "Remove" button.
To set your playlist as you profile default click the "Playlists" tab. Click the name of the playlist you want as your profile playlist and click "Make Default Playlist"
How do I get included in band section?To be included in the band section you'll need to create a band profile. To do that you click "Band Manager" under the "Available" section on the "Features" menu. Enter you bands name and click "Enroll Band". If you need to click "Features" again. You'll notice that "Band Manager" has moved from "Available Features" to "Current Features". Click on "Band Manager". Click On the Name of your band. Fill out as much information as you can. Be sure to fill out at least the zip code on the contact page so we can put your band in the local community listing.
How do I upload a profile pic?To upload a pic go to "Photos" on the top menu. You can either create a new album or click "Update Pictures" on an existing album. Click the browse button to browse to the .jpg or .gif on your hard drive. Enter a title and description for the pic and click "Upload Picture". After you have uploaded the picture you can click "Make Profile" Default" and "Make Album Default" to make the photo your profile default and/or the default pic for this album.
You can have as many albums as you like. In each different type of profile you'll be able to select a different photo album and playlist.

Home (http://home.mylocalmusicnow.com) is where you'll edit your own profile(s) and the "public" site, what everyone gets to see (http://www.mylocalmusicnow.com) On the right menu if you are logged in will be your picture, or a place holder, which if you click on will take you to your public profile. It looks to me like you've already filled in some of your profile information and even made a comment on your own profile.
Under the "Features" menu you can enroll in different profile types from Studio Musician, Music Teacher to Band Manager and Recording Studio Manager. You can actually have as many profiles, one for each aspect of your music as you like.
Under the "Photos" section you can create and manage your photo albums. Each photo album can have as many pictures in it as you like. You can use a different photo album in each of your profiles. To add pictures to an album click "Update Picture" under the album title and description.
Under "Music" on the "Songs" table you can upload as many MP3 songs as you want of any quality you like. You can then add those songs to different playlists on the "Playlists" tab. You can add as many playlists as you like and use a different playlist in each of your profiles. Use the "Make Default Playlist" button to select the playlist for your personal profile.
To look other peoples profiles you can use the search menu option at http://www.mylocalmusicnow.com/search . Enter something that interests you and go from there. Almost everywhere on the site if you see a picture of a member you can click on it and go to their profile. If you like
